Meet Mike & Barb
After years of service as onsite caretakers of the farm, we officially assumed ownership of the business in June 2025. We are holistic stewards of the land and livestock, and strong advocates of raising healthy food free from chemicals and pharma interventions.
Mike Lafond: Farm Operations
Mike is in charge of our herd management and follows the direction of the University of Manitoba to ensure optimal rotational grazing. He is also responsible for the health of our livestock and poultry, and the regeneration of our land. Mike has a degree in aquaculture and has been raising and caring for livestock since his youth. He has a wealth of knowledge about all aspects of farming and is always happy to share it with anyone he meets.
Barbara Robinson: Sales & Customer Service
Barbara has decades of experience in customer service and operations management. She works diligently to ensure your orders are packed, shipped and received on time every week. She is also always ready to answer your questions via email, phone and text day and night. A student of the Wild Rose College of Herbalism, Barbara believes the food you eat will either contribute to your wellness or your illness. Her favourite parts of farm life are working with the livestock, tending the gardens, giving farm tours, and building customer relationships.
